Making a Reservation

You must be 18 years or over to book accommodation at Greys House

To make your booking please contact us on info@greyshouse.uk or call the number on our contact page. An email will be sent confirming your dates and a payment request. This does not form a contract between us, a contract shall only arise when your deposit is received, and your booking is confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post, email or text message.

A deposit of 30% is payable via bank transfer at the time of booking. Booking deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by you, unless cancellation is confirmed more than 8 weeks before your stay start date. It is strongly recommended that you are protected by holiday / travel insurance.

The balance payment is to be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. Balance payments are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by you, unless cancellation is confirmed more than 8 weeks before your stay start date.

Bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival date are payable in full at time of booking.

Where there are travel disruptions due to bad weather or any form of industrial action, Greys House cannot be held responsible for non-arrival or late arrival at Greys House.

Special requirements

It is your responsibility to inform us, at the time of making your booking, of any special requirements that you or anyone in your party may have. Please note; Greys House is NOT wheelchair friendly, people with poor mobility may find difficulty. Please ask us about any of Greys House features at the time of making your booking to ensure suitability.


You will be required to pay for any item that incurs damage or is removed or lost.

Personal injury

You and all members of your party are responsible for your own safety.

No children allowed

These premisis are not suitable for children under the age of 14 years old.

Greys House

Greys House will be ready for you by 3:00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:30am on your day of departure, unless previously agreed otherwise.

You will be notified in your booking confirmation of access arrangements and travel directions.

You agree to keep Greys House clean and tidy and leave it in a similar condition of cleanliness to that when you arrived. Any damages must be reported to us before your departure.

If Greys House is left in an excessively dirty or inappropriate manner, we reserve the right to invoice for the additional cleaning surcharge.

The numbers in your party must never exceed the agreed number at the time of booking.


No pets allowed.


If you unfortunately need to cancel you’re booking for any reason, Greys House must be informed immediately, and cancellation confirmed in writing/email within 5 days.

We strongly advise that you take out holiday/travel insurance to cover the following costs:

1:  Cancellation more than 8 weeks before intended arrival date your deposit/balance will be refunded.

2:  Cancellation less than 8 weeks before intended arrival date you will be liable to pay the full cost of your stay. (i.e. deposit and full balance)

If you have paid a deposit and full balance payment for your booking and you need to cancel within 8 weeks of your stay, a refunded is unlikely. However, if you make another booking at Greys House within a year of this cancellation, we will refund you half of the balance payment value of your cancelled booking. We will also reimburse you half of the balance payment if we are able to re-let Greys House for your cancelled dates.

The above offer can only be exercised for the first cancellation. (i.e. this offer is not available if cancelling a previously cancelled booking).





Changes to Terms and Conditions

Greys House reserves the right to change or amend their terms and conditions at any time.

Note:  T & C’s for Covid-19 will take precedence over standard T & C’s for the foreseeable future.

Note: We reserve the right to terminate your stay at any time if we feel Greys House or its belongings are being mis-treated.
